Welcoming a newborn into the world is a momentous occasion, and capturing these early days through photography creates cherished memories that last a lifetime. This sweet baby girl was already three weeks old at the time of her session. Although us photographers usually recommend having newborn photos taken within the first two weeks, I have had a great deal of success with older babies as well. It definitely doesn’t scare me to go for it at this age or even older. Baby “R” was the perfect subject and slept through all of the poses and transitioned easily.
We utilized soft, neutral-colored wraps as well as some darker pops of color and minimal props to maintain the focus on baby’s delicate features, resulting in timeless images that the family will treasure.
Incorporating parents into the session adds depth and emotion to the photographs. These parents joined in for several shots, capturing the tender bond between them and their new daughter. These family portraits not only highlight the love and connection shared but also provide a complete narrative of this special time in their lives.
Our session was a delightful experience, resulting in a collection of images that beautifully encapsulate the essence of her early days. We are honored to have been part of preserving these memories and look forward to watching this sweet baby grow in the years to come!
