Fall is officially here, and my calendar is filling up FAST! If you’ve been meaning to schedule updated family photos, capture some sweet memories with your kiddos, or get that perfect photo for your Christmas cards, now is the time!

If you love beautiful greenery, this location is for you! Imagine a gorgeous grove of pecan trees, a huge field of lush green grass, and charming white picket fences. It’s such a dreamy setting for family photos, with plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and be themselves.

The evening light at this location makes it especially beautiful for those warm, timeless family portraits you’ll want to hang on your walls.

This stunning location features beautiful cacti, natural desert scenery, and incredible views of the Superstition Mountains. If you’re looking for that classic Arizona backdrop, this is it!

They desired to capture their time in the desert landscape, and we selected a picturesque riverside location that perfectly showcased the natural beauty of the area.​

We recently had the pleasure of photographing newborn baby “C” at nearly three weeks old. Due to some postpartum complications, his mother needed extra time to recover before scheduling the session. Despite the delay, “C” was wonderfully cooperative and remained peacefully asleep throughout the session, allowing us to capture a variety of heartwarming images.​

Charlie’s calm demeanor made for a serene and productive session. We were able to photograph him in multiple poses, highlighting his delicate features and the tender moments that come with welcoming a new life. At Kacy Hughes Photography, we understand that each family’s journey is unique, and we strive to accommodate individual circumstances to ensure a comfortable experience for both the baby and parents.​

A highlight of the session was capturing the bond between “C” and his older brother. His big brother was enthusiastic and gentle, eagerly posing with “C” for sibling portraits. We also took the opportunity to include family portraits, preserving this special time as they welcomed their newest member.​

While we typically recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the first two weeks, we are flexible and understand that circumstances may necessitate a later session. Welcoming a newborn into the world is a momentous occasion, and capturing these early days through photography creates cherished memories that last a lifetime. This sweet baby girl was already three weeks old at the time of her session. Although us photographers usually recommend having newborn photos taken within the first two weeks, I have had a great deal of success with older babies as well. It definitely doesn’t scare me to go for it at this age or even older. Baby “R” was the perfect subject and slept through all of the poses and transitioned easily.

We utilized soft, neutral-colored wraps as well as some darker pops of color and minimal props to maintain the focus on baby’s delicate features, resulting in timeless images that the family will treasure.

Incorporating parents into the session adds depth and emotion to the photographs. These parents joined in for several shots, capturing the tender bond between them and their new daughter. These family portraits not only highlight the love and connection shared but also provide a complete narrative of this special time in their lives.​

This wedding was just so beautiful, I couldn’t fit it all into 1 post! Alondra & Jesse decided to do a first touch before the ceremony where they also read their vows to each other. It was such a special moment to witness. It was a day full of special touches that made everything so personalized and memorable for the couple. I was so blessed to be their Mesa Wedding Photographer at Lindsay Groves in Mesa, AZ.

After the couples first touch, Alondra had a first look with her Dad. You can really tell how much he loves his little girl.

Jesse & Alondra’s reception at Lindsay Grove by Wedgewood was so much fun! Who knew Jesse could dance like that?! The dessert table had so many options for their guests to enjoy and cookies on the guest tables. Alondra’s dad gave the most beautiful toast that ended with him singing to his daughter. It was so special. At the end of the evening, everyone went outside to prepare for the sparkler exit and the couple enjoyed an intimate last dance together before their exit. Thanks again for allowing me to be there to capture your amazing mesa wedding.

Jesse and Alondra were married at Lindsey Groves by Wedgewood Weddings in Mesa, Arizona. It was an incredible day filled with love and laughter. Jesse was absolutely beaming when he told me how excited he was to marry the girl of his dreams. The smiles on each of their faces never left the entire day. It was so great to witness the happiness surrounding these two and their sweet little boy.

This was a completely unpsed moment I was lucky enough to catch between Alondra and her beautiful Mother. Everyone was just so happy at this wedding!

I had the best day being their Mesa Wedding Photographer and I can’t wait to photograph another wedding at Lindsey Groves!

Brittney and I have been friends for 17 years! When my family built our first house, Brittney would come over and visit with her little boy. When I had my first daughter, our kids loved to play and go on walks to the park. Whenever I see her, it’s like no time has passed. I was so happy to meet up with her family for updated family pictures. The oldest boy Jaxon, is graduating and leaving soon so this update needed to happen quickly. It’s so fun to see how all of the kids have grown! It was a beautiful evening in Gilbert, Arizona and I couldn’t be happier with how their pictures turned out.
